Usage statement

The nearly vertical lateral margin with water cascading from the glacier's surface is typical of this and adjacent glaciers that project several kilometers out from the Byam Martin Mountains onto the rolling topography of the southwest Bylot Island lowlands. Light-colored sinuous vertical features directly above snow banks are superimposed ice that fills channels cut by older cascades. The dense concentration of sediment in the lower 3 to 4 meters of the glacier is evident and adjacent to snowbanks.
