His research interests include sequestration of carbon dioxide in geologic formations, fate and transport of contaminants in the environment, and the effects of animal confinement facilities on the environment. He is the Coordinator of the Monitoring, Verification and Accounting program for the Midwest Geological Sequestration Consortium. Ivan has been with the ISGS since 1979.
